Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton Receives Its 10th Safety Grade “A”

Hamilton, NJ, December 21, 2020 Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton was awarded a Grade “A” Hospital Safety Score rating by the Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit run by employers and other large purchasers of health benefits. For seven consecutive ratings periods, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital has been awarded this safety grade; the fall 2020 Safety Grade “A” marks the hospital’s 10th in total over the 12 years The Leapfrog Group has been issuing safety grades.

Developed under the guidance of a National Expert Panel, the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 28 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign grades to more than 2,600 U.S. acute-care hospitals twice per year. The Hospital Safety Grade’s methodology is peer-reviewed and fully transparent, and the results are free to the public.
