Registered nurse and patient navigator Kimberly Cromwell-Piniella, CBCN, BSN, RN has experience in providing support and guidance to breast cancer patients and their families.
The patient navigator can:
- Guide you through diagnosis, treatment and recovery, utilizing our multidisciplinary team to develop an individualized plan of care
- Coordinate referrals from physicians and health care facilities
- Provide you with education related to your illness and planned treatment
- Meet with you preoperatively and postoperatively to assess and reinforce education in preparation for discharge
- Remain available to you when worries and fears become overwhelming
- Connect you with resources such as counseling, social work, rehabilitation support groups and specialty items
