Whether you have a minor sports injury or need a total joint replacement, our array of first-rate orthopedic services can help.
The Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset Joint Surgery Center has been awarded the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™ for total knee and total hip replacement surgery. It is one of an elite group of hospitals nationwide to earn this Disease-Specific Care Certification from the Joint Commission, the nation’s largest health accreditation agency.
Orthopedic patients are cared for on the John and Mary Obzansky Pavilion, a 35-bed unit specializing in orthopedic surgery including total joint surgery, back surgery and bone surgery. Most rooms on the unit are private and feature flat-screen TVs and pull-out sofabeds for family members who wish to stay overnight.
