Newark Beth Israel Medical Center’s $150 million renovation project that will literally change the face of the medical center and the Lyons Avenue landscape is well underway. The highlight of the project will be the hospital’s new main lobby, an estimated 17,000-square-foot, glass-enclosed space with modern seating areas, community meeting spaces, an expansive registration area and cafés. See the beginning of the project from the Spring of 2021, until early fall.

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center’s $150 million renovation project will change the face of the medical center and the Lyons Avenue landscape. The highlight of the project will be the medical center’s new main lobby, an expanded Emergency Department, New Hybrid ORs, Added Green Space , New Pulmonary Center, including Lung Transplant, New Cardiovascular Center, including Heart Failure Treatment and Transplant and continued remodeling of the maternity unit and renovated intensive care units.
