Volunteer Opportunities

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center

We offer volunteer programs for adults and teens.

Volunteers play a vital role in the high-quality care that Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is known for, and help us enhance the patient and visitor experience every day.

Meet new people, make new friends, share their knowledge or learn new skills, and most of all, volunteers receive the satisfaction that comes from being needed and helping others.

Volunteer opportunities are available in patient care areas including geriatrics, patient relations, pediatrics, and public relations and patient escort.

Adult volunteers must be 18 years or older, and junior volunteer opportunities are available for those 14-17 years old.
