Inpatient Mental Health Services at Monmouth Medical Center

Treatment is provided by a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, advanced practice nurses, social workers, art and music therapists, registered nurses and mental health associates. All care is individualized to meet the specific needs of each patient.

AP1 – Short Term Care Facility

This voluntary/involuntary unit includes 28 beds to service adults in Monmouth and Middlesex counties.

AP2 – Children’s Crisis Intervention Services

This unit includes 19 beds to provide children and adolescents, from ages 5 through 17, short-term treatment and crisis stabilization for psychiatric disorders including a trauma-certified expressive therapist.

AP3

This voluntary unit includes 16 beds to treat psychiatric and co-occurring disorders in adults.
