Resident Benefits

Resident Salary:

Resident Salary effective 7/1/2025:
PGY1=$73,133
PGY2=$76,045
PGY3=$80,322
PGY4=$85,014

Vacation: A total of four weeks paid vacation per year are allowed, taken in 1 week blocks.

Insurance: Health, hospital, dental insurance and prescription plan for the resident, spouse, and dependent children are provided by CBMC. Life insurance, in an amount equal to the annual salary paid, and professional liability insurance are also included in the benefits package.

Board Review and Book Allowance: Each resident is provided with an allowance of $1500 for Board Review & travel expenses in their 4th year with $500 book allowance.

Annual National Conferences:Each resident is provided with an allowance for their poster and research presentations at annual conferences for travel and conference expenses.

Lab Coats: Two white lab coats per year are issued to each resident.

Counseling and Psychological Support: Services are available.
