Following Pre-Admission Testing, please join our complementary course.

Together, we’ll help get you better, faster! We encourage our joint replacement patients to attend this important pre-operative class. You will learn how to best prepare for surgery. We’ll guide you through your stay at Jersey City Medical Center and introduce you to the many services we provide.

This will help us partner with you to plan a safe and successful recovery!

At the class you can:

• Meet your JCMC Healthcare team
• Understand an overview of your procedure
• Learn how to prepare for surgery
• Review physical and occupational therapy programs
• Discuss discharge options after your leave the hospital
• Expect answers to any questions you may have

We understand the importance of family and friends as you recover from surgery and support their involvement by encouraging you to designate a “recovery coach.” This family member or friend will support you through this process. Please encourage him or her to join us too. Complimentary tote, education materials and light refreshments will be provided.
