Upon completion of this course, attendees should be able to:

  • Identify the importance of a team approach to GI malignancies to ensure superior outcomes and survival.
  • Appreciate the advancements in procedures, radiation oncology and systemic therapy.
  • Recognize which patient populations may benefit from novel therapeutic interventions by improving appropriate referral for GI malignancies.
  • Understand the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) pancreatic cancer staging updates.
