Billing

RWJBarnabas Health is paperless for patient billing. Patients now receive billing statements digitally via the secure MyChart patient portal, offering a convenient, secure, and environmentally friendly way to manage health care expenses.

All MyChart users with an email address on file have been automatically enrolled in paperless billing as of October 1, 2025. Based on personalized communication preferences, patients receive an email and/or text message when a bill is available. If you would like to manage your billing preferences online, please create a MyChart account.

Patients who prefer to continue receiving paper statements can opt out at any time through MyChart settings.
