Emergency Room Services
24/7 Emergency Room in Long Branch, New Jersey
Fast, Expert Emergency Care for Adults and Children at Monmouth Medical Center
Monmouth's Emergency Department handles a diverse mix of acute cases.
Monmouth Medical Center provides emergency care 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week. Our board-certified emergency doctors, nurses and specialists
quickly diagnose and treat serious illnesses and injuries for patients
of all ages.
Fast Assessment and Testing
A nurse assesses patients when they arrive so the care team can respond to urgent needs. The median wait time for being seen by a provider is generally less than 8 minutes. For possible stroke or heart attack, rapid testing helps doctors begin treatment quickly. We consistently beat national guidelines for time from arrival at the hospital to testing for stroke or heart attack. Registration may be completed at your bedside while you wait for results.
Award-Winning Emergency Care
Our Emergency Department has earned the Emergency Nurses Association Lantern Award for excellence in emergency nursing. Monmouth Medical Center was also the first hospital in New Jersey to earn Magnet Recognition with Distinction for nursing excellence.
