Magnet program leaders at each facility utilize magnet standards to promote excellence in nursing practice.

The journey to Magnet excellence enables organizations to support professional clinical practice, recognize excellence in the delivery of nursing services, and provides the structures necessary for the disseminating and implementing best practices.

The five components of Magnet include Transformational Leadership, Structural Empowerment, Exemplary Professional Practice, New Knowledge innovation and improvements and Empirical outcomes.
