About Our Program

Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship at Community Medical Center

Community Medical Center is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, Community Medical Center, is now committed to high quality graduate medical education programs. CMC is Ocean County’s largest and most active health care facility—caring for over 21,000 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and over 73,000 emergency department patients each year.

The Pulmonary and Critical Care faculty strive to train fellows who would serve their communities in clinical care, education and scientific investigation. Our program is dedicated to providing a learning environment that values diversity and inclusiveness, and teaches physicians to work in inter-professional teams.

The program is committed to maintaining quality education and to following the guidelines and policies of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
