Dr. Hussain obtained her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. After completing her residency in Internal Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Medical School, Dr. Hussain went on to Columbia Presbyterian Medical School for a fellowship in Pulmonology and Critical Care. In 2002, Dr. Hussain joined Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson University Medical School as an Associate Program Director of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship and the Director of Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center. Dr. Hussain is board certified in Interventional Pulmonology, Critical Care Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Neurocritical Care Medicine. She is also fluent in English and Urdu.
