Children's Specialized Hospital Donation Information
We work with our staff and medical teams to ensure donated items meet the needs of our children’s care they receive at Children’s Specialized Hospital, as well as meet our stringent infectious disease protocols. All donations that are received are sorted, organized and delivered throughout our 16 locations to our children and their families. As you can imagine it is quite a process!
The donations that we receive serve our locations throughout the year. Every can of Play-Doh, therapy toys, crayons and other donations are graciously received and used by the children and medical teams. While cards are a thoughtful and kind gesture, Children’s Specialized Hospital is no longer able to distribute cards to our children. Over time, this practice became challenging to manage and ensure appropriate delivery to patients. Our therapy teams prefer it if your donated items are grouped together. Activity bags tend to be difficult to work with to meet the needs of all our patients, as the age range is wide.
All items must be new, with original packaging and unwrapped. We are unable to accept any stuffed toys (animals), dolls with hair (ex. Barbie Dolls), blankets, homemade and handmade items, used medical equipment, toy guns, nerf guns, play weapons, puzzles over 60 pieces, any type of food or edible items, or onesie pajamas.
Please coordinate your donation drop-off dates/times and drop-off location with us. This will ensure our staff is prepared and we can handle your donation and delivery in the most efficient way possible.

New Brunswick Donation Request and Drop-off Information
Thank you for thinking of Children’s Specialized Hospital’s New Brunswick inpatient facility. Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital provides comprehensive inpatient therapy for infants through young adults, up to age 21 following a serious injury, illness, premature birth, major surgery, chronic illness or pain, or any other life-changing incident. If you’d like to donate new items, please fill out the form below and a CSH representative will be in contact with you to schedule the donation.
