Pediatric Nephrology and Hypertension

At The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital, we provide compassionate, comprehensive, state-of-the-art kidney care to infants, children and teenagers with disorders of the urinary tract from birth until 21 years of age. We also counsel mothers when a kidney problem is discovered during pregnancy.

Because kidney disease is often associated with elevated blood pressure, we also specialize in the evaluation and treatment of hypertension.

As part of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, and in partnership with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) and Rutgers Health, we offer the advantages of a premier academic medical center. Our physicians, who are also faculty members at RWJMS, conduct research to continuously improve the quality of care for children with kidney diseases and disorders.

Our kidney care team includes specially-trained nurses who provide education, guidance, and support for your child and your family throughout the care experience.
