The LibertyHealth Foundation returned to Hudson Farm Club for this year's It's A Blast! fundraising event. The sporting clays outing had many return participants and newcomers who reveled in the beauty of the 3,000+ pristine acres and the imposing manor house of the private Hudson Farm Club in Andover, NJ. The day started with brunch followed by the ceremonial firing of the cannon to start the outing. Each of the foursomes was accompanied by a seasoned instructor who guided their every move to insure safety and accuracy. A highlight at the end of the day was the traditional sabering or "sabrage" of champagne bottles which was overseen by representatives of the internationally renowned Christofle company, using an exact replica of a Napoleonic sword to open the bottles. This year's guests have already saved their spots for next year!
