The Liver Center
The Liver Center affiliated with Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and located in Florham Park, is dedicated to caring for patients with liver conditions. The Center specializes in the comprehensive diagnosis, care and treatment of a wide spectrum of liver diseases. These include:
- Chronic viral hepatitis (hepatitis B and hepatitis C)
- Cirrhosis and fibrosis
- Fatty liver (non-alcoholic fatty liver, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis)
- Liver tumors and masses [Liver Cancer (Hepatocellular Carcinoma), bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma), gallbladder cancer, metastatic cancer to the liver, liver cysts]
- Identification and early intervention for early liver disease
- Hepatitis B and C screening, care and treatment
- Close collaboration with liver transplant centers
- Continued support and outpatient management for patients awaiting transplant listing and/or after listing

The Center staff work in close collaboration with liver transplant centers and provide continued support and outpatient management for patients awaiting transplant listing and/or after listing.
