About US
The Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at Jersey City Medical Center is a four-year, fully accredited program by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education since 1983. We are located in the heart of Jersey City, New Jersey-one of the most culturally diverse cities in the country. Our program prides itself on training future physician leaders in Women’s Health in New Jersey and nationally.
The goal of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at Jersey City Medical Center is to train the next generation of Women’s Health physicians to thrive in their careers as clinicians, educators, researchers and leaders in obstetrics and gynecology. Upon graduation, our residents are prepared to practice general obstetrics and gynecology in academic and private practice settings as well as enter subspecialty fellowship training.
Our diverse faculty includes general obstetricians and gynecologists and subspecialists in Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Genetics, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Urogynecology. Our faculty is dedicated to the training and education of our 12 residents. We ensure a rigorous and supportive educational environment that includes robust clinical and surgical experience, research and didactic education while also ensuring resident wellness and a healthy work-life balance.
