To Apply

Applications to RWJ Somerset are only accepted through ERAS, the Electronic Residency Application Service. Application information is available from the ERAS Web site or from the Dean's Office at your medical school.

We accept applications for seven PGY-1 positions yearly. The volume of applications received is substantial, over 2500 last year, so there is a delay between the September 15th opening of ERAs for programs and when invitations to interview are issued. Most interviews are scheduled after October 1st when the MSPE becomes available through ERAS. Interviews are scheduled on Mondays and Fridays from mid-October through mid-January.
