Class of 2021

Oluwadamilola Adepegba, MDOluwadamilola Adepegba, MD, from Bowie, Maryland, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Science in Genetics, Cell Biology and Anatomy from the University of Nebraska. Dr. Adepegba completed her medical education at Ross University School of Medicine. He special interests include women's health, preventive health and integrative medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Adepegba enjoys watching YouTube videos, working out and spending time with her fiancé, family and friends.


Redwan Ahmed, MDRedwan Ahmed, MD is from Queens, New York, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Stony Brook University. Dr. Ahmed continued his medical education at St. George's University School of Medicine. His special interests include academia and hospital medicine. Dr. Ahmed likes to travel and spend time with his wife in his free time.


Anjali Chand, MDAnjali Chand, MD, from Nashua, New Hampshire and attended undergraduate school at Emmanuel College in Boston, Massachusetts where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Chand received her MD from Ross University School of Medicine. Her special interests include urgent care, integrative medicine and outpatient medicine. In her free time, Dr. Chand enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and exploring Manhattan.


Esha Gurnani, MDEsha Gurnani, MD is from of Basking Ridge, New Jersey. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in Economics and Psychology, and went on to complete her medical studies at the Medical University of Lublin, Poland. Dr. Gurnani is interested in traditional primary care, integrative medicine and hospital medicine. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cooking, playing tennis, swimming and spending time with family and friends.


Verity Johnson, MDVerity Johnson, MD spent her early years in Australia before moving to Haverford Pennsylvania. Dr. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Villanova University, and completed her medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine. Dr. Johnson has special interest in preventive medicine and cosmetic medicine, and enjoys skiing, travelling, running and going to restaurants in Manhattan.


Dae Kim, MDDae Kim, MD is from North Wales Pennsylvania. He completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from Temple University before earning his MD at American University of the Caribbean. Dr. Kim is interested in Health Policy, Health Care delivery systems and Global Health innovations. In his spare time he enjoys trying new foods and photography.


Julie Yoon, MDJulia Yoon, MD, originally from Queens, New York, is a graduate of Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics. Dr. Yoon earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, and has a special interest in integrative medicine and women’s health. In her free time, she enjoys long drives, crocheting and foodie adventures.

Raymon S Birring, MD
Raymon S. Birring, MD is from California, and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of California at Davis in Neurology, Physiology and Behavior. Dr. Birring completed his medical education at the American University of the Caribbean. His special interests are community health, primary care and hospital medicine.


James A Bisogno, DOJames A. Bisogno, DO, originally from Long Island, New York, is a graduate of Adelphi University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Bisogno received his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. His special interests include preventative care and screening practices as well as genetic testing.


Raul Gonzales, MDRaul Gonzales, MD, is from Ontario Canada, and received his Bachelor of Science in Comparative Physiology and Health Science from The University of Western Ontario. Dr. Gonzales is a graduate of St. Georges University School of Medicine. He is particularly interested in primary care, preventative medicine, geriatrics and rural health.

Mahmoud Khalil, MD is from Queens, New York, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience from Queens College, City University of New York. Dr. Khalil completed his medical degree at St. Georges University School of Medicine. His areas of special interest include primary care, preventive medicine and hospital medicine.


David Kim, MDDavid Kim, MD, joins the residency from Chicago, Illinois. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing. Dr. Kim completed his medical degree at St. Georges University School of Medicine. His special interests are in family medicine with a focus on preventive and inpatient medicine.

Rene Talai, MD is from Westchester County, New York and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from Bucknell University. Dr. Talai received her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean. She is particularly interested in Womens’ Health and Dermatology.

Sunu M. Alexander, MD Sunu M. Alexander, MD is from Long Island, New York. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Gannon University where she majored in Biology with a Minor in Psychology. Dr. Alexander completed her medical education at Ross University School of Medicine. She is particularly interested in traditional primary care, pediatrics, global health and preventive medicine.

Nisha Bengali, MD grew up in New Jersey. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. Dr. Bengali received her medical degree from St. Georges University School of Medicine. Her special interests include women’s health, behavioral health, geriatrics and palliative care.

Dr. Singh also completed a Master’s in Business Administration from Binghamton University. Dr. Singh received her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine. Dr. Tut received her medical degree from the Medical University of Silesia School of Medicine in Katowice, Poland. She is particularly interested in women’s health, primary care and preventive medicine.
