Graduation Requirements
Jersey City Medical Center Pharmacy Residency
Expected CAGO progression for completed residency evaluations:
By the end of the first quarter a total of 10% of objectives should be
“Achieved”
By the end of the second quarter (half year) a total of 30% of objectives
should be “Achieved”
By the end of the third quarter a total of 50% of the objectives should
be “Achieved”
By the end of residency, 90% of the objectives should be “Achieved
for Residency”
- One poster presentation at a regional or national meeting in person or virtually
- R1.4.2 Deliverable (at least one of the following): Drug class review, monograph, treatment guideline, treatment protocol, utilization management criteria, and/or order set.
- R2.1.2 Deliverable: Develop a project plan in the form of research project IRB submission
- R2.1.6 Deliverable: Project Plan for a Major Project by completing a research project presentation in platform presentation-ready format and presented to Eastern States Regional meeting or institutional audience in person or virtually AND Written report (e.g., manuscript in publishable form and/or formal written report suitable for invested parties).
- R2.1.6 Deliverable: Project Plan for a Second Project by completing at least one of the following, MUE, clinical program development/enhancement/analysis, pipeline forecast, cost or budget analysis, quality assurance (e.g., HEDIS, STARS).
- R4.1.1, R4.1.2, R4.1.3 Deliverable: verbal presentation didactic lecture in person or virtually to healthcare professional or students audience (Verbal presentation (e.g., audiovisual / slides, presentation handout).)
- R4.1.1, R4.1.2, R4.1.3 Deliverable: written education to healthcare professional or student audience (handouts such as PharmacyPhacts or other education material to pharmacists or healthcare providers, patient education brochures)
- Staffing every other weekend starting on the second or third alternating weekend of August each calendar year and one Holiday
- Time away from the residency program does not exceed a combined total of greater than 37 days in 52 weeks.
