Target audience:

  • Nursing and Health Profession Educators

Anticipated learning outcome of activity:

  • Learner will state one way to integrate simulation into curriculum
  • Learner will state one relationship between fidelity and learning outcomes
  • Learner will identify one learning objective of a training activity
  • Learner will state one way to select appropriate simulation fi delity for learning objective
  • Learner will state process of developing simulation to align with learning objective
  • Learner will state one method of evaluating effectiveness of simulation-based training


Number of contact hours:

  • 5.75 CH for Registered Nurses (RNs)

Registration:

  • RWJBarnabas Employees: FREE/No fees, register in NetLearning; “Foundations of Simulation”
  • Non-employees: Course Fee of $250 is required.
