With skin cancer being the most common form of cancer in the United States, early detection can make a life-saving difference. The American Academy of Dermatology encourages all of us to begin taking a moment to think about skin cancer and schedule annual check-ups with a dermatologist. Melanoma Monday, held the first Monday in May, raises awareness about melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, and promotes early detection through self-exams and professional screenings.
During this year’s Melanoma Monday, join Dr. Badalamenti and Angela as they discuss skin cancer prevention tips and the importance of scheduling annual check-ups with a dermatologist.
