Keeping You Healthy: Finding the Best Nutrients for Your Body

Nutrition is eating a healthy and balanced diet so your body gets the needed nutrients. Our bodies need nutrients (substances in foods) so it can function. Nutrients include carbs, fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals and water. No matter your age, good nutrition is important. It gives you energy, helps control your weight and helps to prevent some diseases. As you age, your body and life change, and so does what you need to stay healthy.
