Bio:
Theodore Maglione, MD, is a cardiac electrophysiologist at Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. After completing his undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame he went on to earn his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago – Stritch School of Medicine. He then returned to his home state of New Jersey and completed both his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology at Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Maglione then completed an advanced training fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Weill Cornell Medical College at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He specializes in the treatment of all cardiac arrhythmias. His areas of expertise include catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (utilizing a specialized near zero radiation approach), supraventricular tachycardias, and ventricular tachycardia (with experienced use of remote magnetic navigation-robotic guided ablation). He routinely performs the implantation of cardiac devices such as pacemakers (including leadless systems), defibrillators, and biventricular devices for cardiac resynchronization therapy. Dr. Maglione resides with his wife and children in New Jersey.

A cardiac arrhythmia diagnosis can be an unnerving experience. I strive to help patients navigate this difficult time by both educating them on their diagnosis and then exploring treatment options that best work for them.
