    Richard C. Miller, MD, FACOG, Chair of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology; Clinical Professor of OB/GYN, Rutgers - New Jersey Medical School; Professor of OB/GYN - St. George's University

    Dr. Richard Miller is the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey and Vice President of NJ Perinatal Associates, which is located at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and is part of the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Miller is a Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rutgers University - New Jersey Medical School and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint George’s University.

    Dr. Miller graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. He completed his fellowship training in maternal fetal medicine at the University of North Carolina in 1991. Before joining the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, he spent four years as Director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the National Naval Medical Center and was a member of the faculty at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Miller’s research interests include outcome-based analysis of prenatal care and prenatal diagnosis.

    Dr. Miller is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and an Examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, the Robert A. Ross Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and the American Medical Association. Dr. Miller is Editorial Consultant for Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Journal of Reproductive Medicine.

    Dr. Miller is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

    Dr. Miller is the recipient of The Council for Residency Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology Award for Excellence in Resident Education, The National Defense Service Medal and Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune.
