Philosophy of Care:
My approach to caring for patients with breast cancer, breast disease, and/ or disease surveillance, is to give them the information that they need to maximize their autonomy in treatment and surveillance decisions. I feel that treating the whole patient and not just their disease requires that they are educated thoroughly on their options for treatment and likely outcomes, assuring that shared decision making for treatment does not compromise their medical care.
