  • Natalie M. Lopyan, MD is a Breast Surgical Oncologist at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton. She is a fellowship-trained breast surgeon specializing in the multidisciplinary care of breast disease, including the surgical management of breast cancer and benign breast conditions.

    Dr. Lopyan completed her General Surgery residency followed by fellowship training in Pediatric Surgery Critical Care and Fetal Surgery. During this time, she developed a strong passion for women’s health, which led her to pursue additional subspecialty training in Breast Surgical Oncology at Mount Sinai West.

    With her unique background in the surgical care of pediatric and pregnant patients, combined with her patient-centered approach to breast cancer treatment, Dr. Lopyan is dedicated to incorporating the latest evidence-based practices to deliver comprehensive, compassionate, and individualized care to patients facing a breast cancer diagnosis.

    Philosophy of Care:

    Dr. Lopyan believes every patient deserves care that treats the whole person, not just the disease. She understands the emotional and physical challenges that accompany a breast cancer diagnosis and is committed to supporting patients with empathy, clear communication, and respect. Through a multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach, Dr. Lopyan partners with each patient to create personalized treatment plans aligned with their values and overall well-being, striving to ensure patients feel informed, supported, and confident at every step.
