Karen has more than 30 years of experience in women’s health care, including nine years at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. She has a B.S. in nursing from William Patterson University in Wayne, NJ and a M.S. in nursing with a specialty in nurse-midwifery from Columbia University in New York. Karen believes that birth should be an empowering experience and is very active in teaching prenatal yoga.
