Dr. James Aikins is the Chief of the Gynecologic Oncology Program at Rutgers Cancer Institute and a leading expert in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. With an extensive background in global women’s health, he founded International Healthcare Volunteers, a nonprofit delivering sustainable medical care in Ghana. Dr. Aikins’ academic and clinical career focuses on fertility preservation, complex gynecologic cancers, and surgical innovation, with decades of leadership in advancing multidisciplinary women’s cancer care.
