West Orange, N.J, (October 7, 2025) – RWJBarnabas Health has been ranked among the nation’s Best Children’s Hospitals for 2025–2026 for Pediatric Urology by U.S. News & World Report for the third consecutive year.
RWJBarnabas Health provides New Jersey’s largest network of pediatric care and the state’s only academic pediatric program at The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital (BMSCH) at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel, Unterberg Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center, and the McMullen Children's Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
In addition to the Best Children’s Hospital Gold Badge for Pediatric Urology, which it has earned for the third consecutive year, RWJBarnabas Health ranked #2 in New Jersey and #16 in the Mid-Atlantic region. RWJBarnabas Health was one of only two hospitals in New Jersey recognized as a Best Children’s Hospital and among the top 20 children’s hospitals in the Mid-Atlantic.

U.S. News, together with RTI International, a North Carolina-based research and consulting firm, collected and analyzed data from 198 eligible children’s hospitals and surveyed thousands of pediatric specialists. Children’s hospitals awarded a “Best” designation excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, level and quality of hospital resources directly related to patient care, and expert opinion among pediatric specialists.
