Long Branch, NJ, November 18, 2022 – Monmouth Medical Center (MMC) ​ LiveWell Center registered dietitian Jennifer Klein, MS, RDN, hosted a cooking demonstration this week at Soldier On in Tinton Falls, which provides housing and support for over 60 military veterans.

Members of Soldier On have attended programs at the LiveWell Center at the Anne Vogel Family Care & Wellness Center at the Monmouth Mall in Eatontown over the past few months, and Soldier On has been the recipient of 60 produce boxes each week from MMC since the beginning of August. On November 15th, Klein brought a demonstration to them that showed them how to prepare a simple, healthy meal with the fresh produce they receive.

Soldier On will continue to receive fresh produce for its residents from MMC through the end of the calendar year through American Rescue Plan Act grant funding received by the hospital.
