Hospital’s Annual Fundraising Event to be Held Virtually in Support of Patients, Employees
Belleville, NJ – Clara Maass Medical Center, a facility of RWJBarnabas Health is presenting a Virtual Wine Tasting Event, A Tasteful Experience from Home on December 9 at 7:00 PM to support the critical needs of its patients, families and ‘health care heroes.’
The event will be held virtually in lieu of an in-person event due to current restrictions limiting large social gatherings related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and will feature a live host from Clif Family Vineyards in Napa Valley, California. For those unable to join the live virtual event, the tasting will be recorded and made available for viewing later.
“We’ve made the decision to offer our annual fundraising event virtually this year so that our friends and supporters can enjoy a safe, fun event at home with family, while supporting the needs of the Medical Center” said Mary Ellen Clyne, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of Clara Maass Medical Center.
Confirmed participants in A Tasteful Experience from Home will receive one virtual wine tasking box with: Three bottles of wine from Clif Family Vineyards including: 2017 Napa Valley Chardonnay; 2017 The Climber Bordeaux Blend, 2017 Napa Valley Petite Sirah and a selection of bites to complement each wine selection including: Clif Family Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels, Clif Family Organic Plum Preserves, and Clif Family Solar Grown™ Cacao Honey Spread with rustic bakery crackers.
Registration is required by November 16th to guarantee delivery of the wine shipment by December 9th. The cost for one wine tasting box is $275 and will accommodate 4-5 individuals. Only confirmed registrants will receive a calendar invitation and web link to the virtual event. Sponsorships are available and include multiple wine shipments.
