Nov 3, 2019 Saint Barnabas Medical Center Names New Vice President of Operations

Marci Daniel, MS, CDM, has recently been named Vice President of Operations for Saint Barnabas Medical Center (SBMC). Since 2011, Mrs. Daniel has held various leadership roles within Saint Barnabas Medical Center. In her new role she will continue to focus on improving the patient experience, all aspects of operations, financial and strategic planning, and clinical services. She will have responsibilities for the Departments of Otolaryngology, Anesthesia, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Rehabilitation Services, Institute for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery and General Surgery. In addition, she will continue to provide support to the divisions of Pediatric Surgery, Critical Care, Stroke Center, Thoracic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Pulmonary and Burn.

Mrs. Daniel is an active member on several SBMC committees. She is a member of the Women’s Leadership Alliance/ RWJBarnabas Health and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She received her master’s in Health Services Management from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY and her bachelor degree in Communication and Psychology from the College of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, NY.
