Mammography Results Via Email

Receive screening mammography results via email

We are pleased to announce The Breast Center imaging patients can receive the results of their screening mammogram and/or breast ultrasound via email.

The results are generated via email via a new system, Penn Connect, as soon as the studies are read by one of our board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologists. Patients screened during evening hours or on the weekend will receive their results within 24-48 business hours.

Diagnostic imaging patients are informed of their results verbally before they leave the department, but also have the option of receiving their results by e-mail.

When you arrive to register for your appointment, you will have the option to receive the results of your screening mammography and/or ultrasound via email. You will be provided with information and instructions upon registration.

If you do not have email capability or have not opted for email delivery of your results, your letter will be mailed within 7-10 days. For more information, please inquire upon Registration.

Log-in Instructions for those already registered with Penn Connect:

If you have registered for Penn Connect, your results will be sent via email from accpennconnect@rwjbh.org. The system will ask you for your unique password which will be your first name and your last name with the first letter of each name capitalized and a space in between (Example: Jane Doe). If you do not have email capability or have not opted for email delivery of your results, your letter will be mailed within 7-10 business days.
