To kick-off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Jersey City Medical Center
celebrated the renovation project of the Cristie Kerr Women’s Health
Center waiting room on Thursday, October 5, 2017.
Last October, business owner and Jersey City resident Suraj Kaufman led
a breast cancer sneaker auction through his business, The Sneaker Room
where a total of 50 limited edition Nike Air Trainer Cruz pink sneakers
were sold. A donation of $75,000 was provided to the Jersey City Medical
Center to support breast cancer services.
