Lucy worked hard to complete the Pediatric Intensive Physical and Occupational Program at Children’s Specialized Hospital. The program combines individualized occupational and physical therapy that helps children with special needs and their families by focusing on specific goals. Intensive therapy is frequent and for a limited length of time with emphasis on targeted skills and function. The program provides therapy 2 hours a day, 4 days a week for 4 weeks. Therapists will use various techniques to help improve flexibility, strength, and how well they move based on goals set by your family and therapists.
