Tommy M New Jersey Musician Recovers From Heart Attack

“Everybody at the hospital was great. The nurses on the cardiac floor were wonderful. They were all so caring, and I felt safe.”

When Shore-area trombonist Tommy Meares felt chest tightness and labored breathing he decided to get his “tail over to Monmouth Medical, to the E.R.” Interventional Cardiologist Scott Eisenberg, DO, and the team at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch performed an emergency cardiac catheterization on Tommy to open his blocked arteries and restore proper blood flow. Tommy would go on to cardiac rehabilitation at the hospital to recover from his heart attack, and he continues to work out at the rehab gym as a way to maintain his heart health.

No one plans on heart problems. But everyone should have a plan for them. Make your plan for heart health at Monmouth Medical Center.
