The Emergency Department at Clara Maass Medical Center diagnosed him with having a heart attack, and an angiogram performed by the Cardiology team showed that an artery leading to his heart was 85% closed, requiring catheterization and stenting. Four months later, Gerry has completed a comprehensive plan of care including cardiac rehabilitation, and is back to living a full and healthier life.
