Our Health Care Vision

Our vision makes health care more accessible to the communities we serve while enhancing the patient experience and delivering world-class care. These bold investments include plans for new and improved facilities, designed to meet the evolving health care needs of the patients we serve.
The Vogel Medical Campus at Fort Monmouth in Tinton Falls
Located just six miles away from Monmouth Medical Center’s Long Branch campus, the new Vogel Medical Campus plans include:
-
A five-story outpatient center, the
Specialty and Cancer Care Center, bringing cutting-edge cancer treatments and clinical trials closer to
home in partnership with Rutgers Cancer Institute, the state’s only
NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center. Currently under construction,
the outpatient center is expected to open to patients in early 2027.
-
A state-of-the-art, 252-bed
acute care hospital, easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway and other major roadways
including Route 36 and Route 18. The new hospital will feature 100% private
rooms, a full-service Emergency Department, state-of-the-art operating
rooms, expansive labor and delivery and postpartum suites, and inpatient
pediatric care including a NICU and PICU, offered in a parklike setting
with ample parking.

Specifically, these include:
- Improvements to enhance the patient and visitor experience with greater ease of access and ample parking.
- Renovations of the largest patient tower and an update to the building’s façade.
- All-private patient rooms to ensure the most comfortable and optimal healing environment.
Focus on Improving Health Access and Outcomes for All

Our focus on community health services, nutrition, education, and improving health outcomes for all remains central to our core mission. RWJBarnabas Health is advancing these efforts by embedding Community Health Workers within both the Long Branch and future Tinton Falls campuses to connect patients with resources for housing, food, transportation, and follow-up care. Additionally, through partnerships with organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Shore House, we are investing in youth mentorship, mental health support, and family wellness programs that strengthen our communities beyond the walls of our facilities.

Building on a Legacy of Community Investment
Our vision for modernized health care builds upon on more than $35 million in infrastructure improvements at Monmouth Medical Center over the past decade. We’re expanding partnerships with local organizations, creating jobs, and investing in education and workforce development to strengthen our community’s health and economy.
Care That Meets Tomorrow’s Needs
We are designing and building modern health facilities for optimal flexibility, safety, and innovation — equipped to adapt to changing medical technology, evolving patient expectations, and future health care challenges. By combining world-class clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered approach, we’re building healthier communities for today and the decades ahead.
