I wanted to thank Doreen from Same Day Surgery. She was one of my nurses on 7/24th and I really appreciated her care. I was struggling with lightheadedness after my long procedure and it was getting late. Hi I don’t know if she remembers me but my night time nurse Victoria when I had spinal fusion surgery she was the best and most caring nurse I couldn’t ever ask for and she truly deserves everything great to come to her, she is so loving, sweet, caring, and also pretty and my favorite nurse ever while I was there she helped me no matter when or what time it was or what the reason was and I am forever thankful for that and I wish I knew it was my last night that night so I couldn’t tell her thank you and give her a big hug but I couldn’t so Victoria if you see this and I hope you do thank you so much and I love you I’m literally crying rn idk the field she works but it was on the pediatric floor at night time to early mornings idk if she was an RN or not but she was the best person ever thank you so much have a great everything 💝 – Love Iyana Iyana

We have grown as a 'family' and our different personality traits may get on each others' nerves at times, haha, but we ALWAYS put our patients and families first. We advocate, support, comfort, encourage, and guide throughout their days, weeks, months, and years of treatment. I just want to thank all the nurses who took extra special care of my and my little one this week from labor and delivery to postpartum. They truly love what they do and patient care is that the forefront of their minds. My labor and delivery nurses name was Veronica she was like a sister to me throughout the whole process. In postpartum I had several nurses but nurse Linda stood out the most with her motherly patient care and true love for her patients. Also in postpartum I had the pleasure of having Carolyn who checked my vitals and brought me water like clock work. She worked tirelessly to ensure my family had everything they needed. I had a personal battle I needed to fight and went in not knowing how or where this journey was going to take me, but from beginning to end, our nurses took care of me. I will never forget Peaches and Mary in IR, Heather in infusion, Simona NP, or Lisa and Attiyyah from the breast center who all had a hand in my treatment, and recovery. I am happily in remission, but I truly don't think I would have been able to make it through without all of your help. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Working offsite from MMC, we are 'away' from the hustle and bustle of the many departments at the hospital. While we follow the same protocols, there are differences in our system, giving us advantages and disadvantages. We are SO FORTUNATE to work with the professionals that float to us from BBR4. Despite floating to us infrequently, each and every nurse steps in smoothly and professionally. The patients often get uneasy with an unfamiliar face, but are put at ease quickly when they encounter these amazing nurses! Our team is stronger because of this camaraderie that we have. #oneteamonegoal Susan
