Presented by S. Paul Prior, Esq., Hinkle, Prior, Fischer & Oberweis, P.C., Attorneys at Law:

Many students with disabilities struggle with self-regulation and behaviors that interfere with learning and social relationships. Sometimes, behaviors can be dangerous to the child or to others. Left untreated, behavior issues may put the child at increased risks or result in school removal. Attendees will learn about proactive strategies to address the needs of students with disabilities who also have behavioral difficulties, including IEP accommodations, Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), social skills teaching and how to limit exposure to school discipline policies. This 90-minute presentation also includes a Q&A for attendees.
