Celebration of Life: Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center's National Cancer Survivor's Day Luncheon

In recognition of the 31st Annual National Cancer Survivor’s Day, The Cancer Program at Cooperman Barnabas invites our patients to our “Celebration of Life” luncheon.

We invite you to join award-winning actress, singer and cancer survivor, Valisia LeKae, as she shares her personal experience and performs at this year’s “Celebration of Life.”

Valisia was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age of 34 while starring as Diana Ross in Motown: The Musical on Broadway, a role which garnered her both a Grammy and Tony nomination. Named spokesperson for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition in 2014, she has traveled the country to spread awareness and has been honored by the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance for her work. Now cancer free, Valisia continues to use her voice to educate and inspire.

To make a reservation, please call the Cancer Program registration line at 973-322-2671. Due to limited seating you are able to invite one guest. We will begin to accept reservations on August 1, 2018.

Once we reach the room capacity (700) we will be unable to accept further reservations. This program is exclusively reserved for individuals who have received cancer treatment in the Cooperman Barnabas Cancer Program. Please leave your name, phone number, guest’s name (children must be over the age of 16) and your Cooperman Barnabas oncologist’s name. Confirmation calls will not be provided. Please register early as seating limited.
