Prevention & Treatment of Kidney Disease in Children

Early recognition and treatment of renal disorders in children can delay progression and may even prevent the development of chronic renal failure, minimizing neurological deficits and growth retardation. Recent technological breakthroughs, newer therapies and better understanding of pediatric kidney disease has led to improved care of infants and children with various nephropathies.

This program is designed to provide an update for pediatricians, pediatric subspecialists and nurses regarding renal disease from the neonatal period to late adolescence.
