The Matthew J. Morahan III Health Assessment Center for Athletes is happy to provide free cardiac screening to those 6 to 18 and concussion baseline screenings for those 5 to 18. Screenings are recommended to be repeated every 2 years.
An appointment is required in advance. Please use this website to register and a member of our team will be in touch via email to confirm appointment availability and time. The Matthew J. Morahan III Health Assessment Center for Athletes (MJM) provides education, assessment, and management of sports injuries and sports-related cardiac and concussion screening. Working with top sports medicine providers from the Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine Institute, MJM delivers expert, multidisciplinary care for sports injuries from start to finish. Using preventive medicine and screening, as well as innovative sports injury evaluation and management, MJM assists in navigating an athlete safely back to the field.
MJM proudly partners with schools and programs across the state, providing physician oversight, screening and injury management services to many of New Jersey’s top athletic programs, including Rutgers University, Seton Hall University, and the New Jersey Devils.
