The Open Enrollment Period, during which beneficiaries can make certain changes to their Medicare coverage for 2027, will begin October 15^th and extends to December 7th. This presentation provides an overview of Medicare and explains the options available to beneficiaries during Open Enrollment, changes in Medicare for 2027, and describes programs that can help qualifying beneficiaries pay for prescription plans and Medicare premiums and cost-sharing. SHIP is your local State Health Insurance Assistance Program. SHIP provides unbiased help to Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers.
