    Zahidul H. Mondal, MD joined the RWJUH Transplant Team in July 2013. Dr. Mondal is a graduate of SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY. He received his residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he also completed two- and one-year fellowships in Nephrology and Transplant Nephrology respectively.

    In 2013, Dr. Mondal joined the faculty at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick. He currently is Assistant Professor of Medicine and serves as Associate Program Director of the Nephrology Fellowship program. Dr. Mondal’s research interests include immunosuppressive therapy, gene expression, chronic antibody mediated rejection and cardiovascular risks in transplant candidates. He has published and presented on a variety of topics.
