    Yasmeen Shariff, MD, received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia. She completed her residency in radiology at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, and her fellowship at Pittsburgh Western Pennsylvania Hospital, where she trained under Ellen B. Mendelson, M.D., director of breast imaging. She has been board certified as a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology since 1997. Prior to joining the staff of Monmouth Medical Center, Dr. Shariff was a staff radiologist at Princeton Medical Center as well as a practicing radiologist at Princeton Radiology Associates. She is a member of American College of Radiology, Society of Breast Imaging, Radiological Society of North America and the American Roentgen Ray Society. She specializes in women imaging, including high-volume mammography, stereotactic mammotomy and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies, galactograms and cyst aspirations.

    She is the Director for Breast MRI and Diagnostic Ultrasound at Monmouth Medical Center.
