Wen Xiong, MD

Dr. Wen Xiong, MD, FACR is the Director, Division of Rheumatology, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and the owner and attending rheumatologist of the Humane Center for Arthritis and Rheumatism, Union, New Jersey. Dr. Xiong, received her medical degree with honors from the West China University of Medical Sciences in her home country, China. She continued her medical career as a post-doctoral research scientist at Columbia University. She also earned a Master of Science in Physical Therapy with honors at New York Medical College. She completed her medical residency at New York Medical College and her rheumatology fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. After completing her fellowship, she worked as an attending rheumatologist at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

Dr. Xiong is now the president of the New Jersey Rheumatology Association. She also owns a private practice, the Humane Center for Arthritis and Rheumatism, in Union, NJ. She has published more than 10 journal articles and has presented 8 posters and abstracts at professional conferences.
